Buti Yoga workouts transform your BODY + SOUL with cardio-intensive bursts of tribal dance, primal movement + conditioning woven into a dynamic yoga practice. Created by Celebrity Trainer Bizzie Gold, Buti Yoga utilizes the Spiral Structure Technique to sculpt + tone the deep abdominal muscles that stabilize and strengthen the body. Instead of linear movements, Gold favors movements that challenge the body along all planes of motion.
Kellie Johnston has over 30 years of extensive dance training in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop. While dance was her first love, yoga has become not only one of her favorite physical practices, but has completely changed her life and perspective in every situation. When Kellie found Buti Yoga, it felt really meant to be. It was the perfect marriage between her two loves, yoga and dance. She's so excited to bring more exposure to the practice in the Orange County area. She holds a BA in Organizational Communication from CSU, Chico and a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Physical Education from National University. She completed her RYT-200 at Cloud Nine Yoga, her Buti Yoga certification in Tustin, CA, and has nearly finished her Prenatal Yoga (RPYT) certification through Ma Yoga. An Orange County native, Kellie has been married to her husband Kyle for 8 years, has a 4 year old son, Jake and a 4 month old son, Sam.

In this workshop, Kellie will explain the history of Buti Yoga, the breakdown of movement done throughout the practice, explain the chakra balancing sequence, and will lead a 75 minute Buti Yoga class.

Please bring a yoga mat and water.
