40 HR Strength Teacher Training
Course Dates and Times
In this course students will be given a comprehensive overview of asana-based aerobic movement, functional anatomy, alignment, biomechanics, and the art of blending and sequencing Yoga and weight training. Balancing the yin of the Yoga practice with the yang of weight lifting, you will learn how to build students endurance, strength, and bone density.
This Strength training will provide Yoga Alliance’s yearly requirement for continuing education for 200-hour certified Yoga Instructors. Inspired students are also welcome to use this training to deepen their practice.
This intensive course is intended to function either independently, as a stand-alone 40 hours of continued education, or as a portion of our Advanced 300HR teacher training.
