As of writing this, I am currently on a mission to promote health and wellness as a free and public good. I am a public high school physical education (P.E.) teacher. My objective is to empower my students to create more health, well-being, joy, and positive habits.
My favorite hobby is to learn new things; as a life-long student, I continually seek out new experiences, knowledge and wisdom which manifested into diverse interests including but not limited to yoga, surfing, piano, martial arts, traveling, reading, camping, DIY, and making stupid jokes.

I am so grateful and honored to be your friendly neighborhood yoga instructor, and look forward to meeting you soon!

Favorite Yoga Move:

Savasana, although each posture is purposeful and beautiful in their own way when practiced.

How Has Yoga Benefited You The Most:

It may be a coincidence, but I believe that consistent yoga brings out the best version of myself. I find more contentment and joy in life. I'm more motivated to progress and accomplish goals. Food and drink are more enjoyable. My relationships and daily interactions become a source of light, optimism and positivity. I would say that yoga has been a significant catalyst towards self-reflection and subsequent personal development that has undoubtedly shaped who I am, and what I stand for.

Reason Started Doing Yoga:

I made the decision to begin surfing and dabbling in martial arts training during my mid-twenties, quickly realizing I lacked significant flexibility and strength. Searching for guidance, I started exploring yoga fitness videos and subsequently falling victim to a small yoga studio's groupon offering. After the first class introduced me to the sublime experience of sleeping pidgeon pose as well as the poetic perfection present in a well-taught yoga class, I knew that yoga was something I wanted to continue exploring. I came for the flexibility, and stayed for the community/wisdom/good vibes/inspiration floating around the studio.
