I have been practicing Yoga since 2003, and received my first 200 hour certification in Power, Vinyasa, Hot 26, and Yin Yoga in 2012. My 500 hour certification with Yoga Medicine is underway, and I specialize in Yoga for Athletes, Spine and Shoulder Orthopedics, Women’s Health, Yin Yoga, and Meditation. In addition, I have attended immersions in YogaHour Hatha Flow and Rocket Ashtanga Vinyasa.
While I love to be technical and traditional in some senses, there is another part of me that is rowdy and full of curveballs! My second 200 hour certification is in Buti Yoga, of which I have been selected to become a master trainer. I am also certified in HotCore and Buti Sculpt, and teach mat Pilates and HIIT.
In my spare time, I am soaking up inspiration from a variety of classes including circuit training, kickboxing, jiujitsu, pole fitness, twerk, hip-hop, burlesque, and barre. I practice seated meditation almost daily and strive to bring mindfulness to everything I do. Food preparation and portrait photography are some of my favorite creative outlets, and I love to sing and whistle. My heart’s desire is to travel and to help others get in touch with their highest selves.
