RYT 200 | 250+ hours continued education
Ariella is a grounded free spirit who brings fun and energy wherever she goes. She took her first yoga class at a bikram studio while working in Paris in the summer of 2008 and was hooked on that style for 7 ears before finding a love of the musicality in vinyasa flow and the warm community at Ra. After completing YTT with the Ra family in 2016, Ariella left a corporate job to become an international yoga teacher and spent 8 months teaching and learning on retreats in India, Cambodia, and Bali.

She is a mover and a shaker. Raised in dance and theater, she learned early how to use her body in creative and interesting ways. Her core teaching style embodies this energy and love. Classes are a fusion of curated playlists and flowing sequences with careful attention to alignment and breath - literally dancing (and sometimes singing) through the asanas! Besides the active spirit of her classes, she also works to impart a feeling of community and love among the students through interaction, hands-on adjustments, and massage.

Ariella brings 250+ Yoga Alliance training hours and extensive self-study. Her specialty is Vinyasa Flow or Power Yoga, but she also enjoys teaching Yin, Active Meditations, Somatics, Dance, Partner Yoga, SUP Yoga, and Yoga Theory.

Favorite Yoga Move:

Natarajasana - Lord of the Dance/Dancers Pose. I love this pose because it is affected by every muscle in your body, from the soul of your feet to the top of your head, and if you get all that aligned properly then the focus of the mind comes in. It is an incredible beautiful expression of concentration.

How Has Yoga Benefited You The Most:

It's the philosophy which has impacted me more than the asana, but the asana led me to the philosophy.Yoga has taught me be more mindful and grounded, and opened me up to a more peaceful and grateful way of life.

Reason Started Doing Yoga:

I was living in Paris feeling lonely and eating too many pastries. I had gained 15 lbs. and felt miserable. I passed a Bikram studio every day on my way to the train and one day decided to take the leap and signed up for the intro special. After my first class I felt lighter, stronger, and dedicated. I continued going every day. It did help me get back in shape, but little did I know it would lead me on a path towards so much greater internal strength.

5 Words That Describe Your Teaching Style:
