Aubrey discovered Yoga in 2012, while accompanying a co-worker to class... she wasn't looking for a fitness routine or spiritual practice at the time, but she quickly fell in love with the physical strength and mind-body connection that she experienced. The more she practiced, the more she wanted... more knowledge, more community, more Yoga. She went on to complete her 200-Hr Yoga certification with CorePower Yoga in 2015. Aubrey's practice has truly transformed her life... she has found balance, authenticity and gratitude that she hadn't even realized she was missing before, and in 2018 she left her corporate job of 15 years to pursue a career as a Health Coach. She is passionate about sharing the practice of Yoga and guiding others to explore their limits and discover their "why".
Favorite Yoga Move:
Chair Pose (Utkatasana) - I used to dread this pose because every aspect of it felt difficult... now I embrace the challenge and draw strength from my growth.
How Has Yoga Benefited You The Most:
Yoga has benefited me in countless ways, but most of all it has brought me inner-peace and led me to my most authentic self.
Reason Started Doing Yoga:
I started doing Yoga with a co-worker to provide moral support, but self-discovery and personal growth kept me coming back. Now the balance, tranquility and gratitude I experience every time I step onto my mat are why I continue practicing.
