Chris Henry is a certified yoga instructor and health-fitness coach seeks natural relief from the stress and pain related issues that come with being human. After years of experience in athletics, injuries and rehabilitation, he sought ways to activate the body’s natural ability to heal itself and grow. To promote health, Chris engages the transformative connection of body-mind through yoga asana and conscious breathing.

My favorite posture is Trikonasa, Triangle pose. It activates every system, simultaneously stretching and lengthening muscle tissues, while strengthening and focusing my efforts throughout my whole body.
My Yoga practice gives awareness of my present state of body and mind. The techniques and teachings enable personal empowerment. The postures relieve aches and pains, help calm the mind, and energize our spirit. Daily practices activate the body-mind connection. This union creates a sense of peace in our body that feels like lightness. The yogic way allows us to access infinite energy. I am grateful to have found yoga and look forward to helping others find their practice. It is an honor to lead other yogis as my teachers have led me. Namaste
I was an athlete from my youth days all the way through University. Sports related injuries affected my ability to physically compete, and they also created mental challenges to overcome the fear of re-injury and more rehabilitation. After college, the absence of the competitive sports environment created new challenges to "stay in shape." The stresses of day-to-day life, physical pain and a feeling of reduced energy made it harder to maintain a level of fitness and wellness. Thankfully, yoga was the answer. The practice of yoga is the method to being and staying healthy. After experiencing the rejuvenating nature of a well-connected class, this ancient practice would become part of my every day.
