His classes are challenging, guiding each student to advance within their own practice, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
Favorite Yoga Move:
Handstand. Just for the simple fact that it embodies mindful presence. It requires you to find your Drishti, maintaining full activation from your fingertips to your toes. There seems to be a never ending ladder of progress with handstands, break one plateau and another door opens up. Plus, it's just super fun to play with :)
How Has Yoga Benefited You The Most:
Yoga is my conduit from the physical to the spiritual. It has helped me stay healthy in all aspects of my life; mentally, physically, and spiritually. On top of it all, yoga has allowed me to provide safe and sacred space for others, living in an altruistic manner on and off the mat.
Reason Started Doing Yoga:
I had an awakening. I transitioned into a plant based lifestyle, lived compassionately and spiritually, and yet, I still felt something was missing. I quit my lifestyle as a competitive boxer, and was craving a physical outlet. Yoga provided that outlet and so much more; it ultimately became the missing link I had been searching for.
