Destiny, has been in the fitness and wellness industry for the past 10 years. Certified personal trainer, former Ballerina with a love and passion for Yoga and movement. A master of her craft with an inventive mind in her sequences. Destiny strongly believes in the power of mind body connection and holds an MA in Mental Performance Psychology through Saybrook University. Destiny developed and implemented a yoga recovery program that included a long list of professional athletes in the NFL NHL as well as UFC Fighters. Destiny has taught all over the world and took part in opening womens’ fitness studios in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, where she worked to empower women with a mix of different movement disciplines, including dance, Yoga, Pilates, weight training and physiotherapy. Her teaching and enthusiastic energy focuses on all levels of athleticism, rehabilitation, injury prevention, weight loss, mind-body connection that is dynamic, challenging and mood lifting as you rock out to music that marries the movement.

Favorite Yoga Move: 

Dandasana. Having gone through spinal surgery, I love how this pose imprints and empowers a healthy spine leading to a healthy mind.

How Has Yoga Benefited You The Most: 

Yoga has benefited me most by finding a harmony and rhythm in my life. Learning how to breath through the good the bad and the ugly, yoga is always their inside of me teaching me to be the best version of me.

Reason Started Doing Yoga: 

After years of dancing, things did not feel right when taking a corporate job. After my very first yoga class during Savasana, I said to myself "this is what I am supposed to be doing with my life." And so I quite my job and went to teacher training.
