Emily Jacobs
Emily began practicing yoga in 2009 & loved that it was a form of movement she could practice for the rest of her life. She completed a 200 hour Vinyasa certification & a 50 Hour Yoga Sculpt certification through CorePower Yoga and has continued some of her studies under Janet Stone. In 2017, she had the opportunity to teach abroad in Australia while on a working holiday & learned that all it takes is stepping slightly beyond your comfort zone. Emily focuses on creating a safe space to explore yoga and often provides many modifications and various expressions so you can discover what best suits you. She enjoys teaching various styles from a nourishing yin class to a challenging and sweaty vinyasa flow.

How Has Yoga Benefited You The Most:

I love the connection to the breath, moving mindfully and tuning into the present moment of what is happening in the body and mind.

Reason Started Doing Yoga:

I started practicing hot yoga when I was 17 years old. I had been a dancer so I found the combination of flowing, flexibility and strength to be the perfect fit and a sustainable activity that I could practice the rest of my life.
