Hallee went to her first Bikram yoga class as a junior in high school and has been hooked ever since. After practicing yoga for over a decade, she completed a 200-hour teacher training through Corepower Yoga, and has been teaching since 2011 in Minneapolis, and now Orange County. While hot yoga is her first love, Hallee also loves to practice many different styles, and is a firm believer in teaching from experience. Her classes emphasize proper alignment, and she is happy to nerd out on asanas with you anytime.

Dropbacks. I love backbends.
When I started I was 17 years old and (like most young women) at war with my body. I used to think my body was something I needed to exercise or starve or beat into submission. Continuing to come back to my yoga practice year after year has revealed the inherent strength and beauty of my body to myself, and while it's still a struggle sometimes, yoga has taught me to see my body as an equal to my mind and spirit.
Honestly, I started doing Bikram yoga because I am an excessive sweater; I was embarrassed to exercise in front of other people! My mom suggested I try hot yoga because then everyone would be sweaty. She was right.
Lighthearted. Approachable. Engaged. Nurturing. Down-to-earth.
