Heather fell in love with dance and yoga at an early age and has always loved the practice of linking movement to music and breath. She believes yoga is an energy shifting, life enhancing, healing practice and she loves to share the benefits with her students. Heather holds a B.S. Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado and she is a certified Pilates and yoga instructor.

Favorite Yoga Move: 

Downward Dog. It’s my home base and my happy place.

How Has Yoga Benefited You The Most: 

Some of my most favorite moments in life are how alive I feel when I walk out of a yoga class. Renewed, refreshed, rung out, peaceful, present, happy and revived. When I am doing yoga, I don’t have to try to feel grateful, I just am grateful.

Reason Started Doing Yoga: 

My mom took me to my first yoga class in 1985 when I was 10 years old. I remember being amazed at how flexible, strong and youthful all the adults were. From that moment, I knew yoga was special and I wanted it to be a part of my life.
