My yoga journey started in 2002 when I was pregnant with my first child. I watched this pre-natal video and was hooked. I loved the breathing, I loved the way it made me feel like I could just be in the moment. After my daughter was born, I started to practice at a studio and was amazed how much more I loved it. Being a gymnast in my childhood, I loved that It involved inversions and using my body strength to build and tone muscle. Aside from all the physical benefits I was feeling, I was surprised at how yoga was affecting my mental state, my happiness and my self-esteem.
After my 2nd child was born I took my first 200-hour teacher training through Yoga works and knew right away that I had to teach so I could share yoga with others.

My favorite pose is warrior 1. I love how grounding and strong it feels, there is much to be said about having our feet grounded to the earth and how much energy we feel from the earth.
