200 HOUR CERTIFIED
I graduated from University with a degree is biology. Currently, I am pursuing a degree as a nurse practitioner. I began my yoga journey as a 22 year old college senior. When I started yoga, I mainly considered it another form of exercise. As time passed, I learned more about the meditation aspect of the practice and began to incorporate it into my routines. Two years later, I decided to deepen my practice by pursing a my 200 hour yoga instructor credential. Over the years I have continued to practice in various studios and with friends. I love the outdoors and calming music. Being a bit of a minimalist, I enjoy a concise approach when practicing. Body alignment and smooth movements are the foundation of my practice.

How Has Yoga Benefited You The Most:
I feel that yoga has helped me with living in the present moment with less stress about possible futures. Additionally, it has assisted me in letting go of past stressors.
Reason Started Doing Yoga:
The Reason I Started Doing Yoga: I stated yoga for the physical workout aspect of the practice. Over time I realized that the meditation section of the practice greatly helped my physical fitness as well as my mental fitness.
