Justen is passionate about yoga, and has been practicing for a decade. He brings anatomical knowledge (from his massage therapy background) and compassion (from years of caring for individuals with physical and cognitive impairments) to every class, believing kindness and mindfulness are powerful tools for healing.
While Justen has sought the guidance of many instructors, he firmly believes a person's own practice is their greatest teacher.
Justen seeks to empower his students to cultivate and develop their own intuition on their personal journeys toward wellness.

Favorite Yoga Move: 

My favorite Asana is ever-changing, I work toward non-attachment and often enjoy the struggle of postures that challenge me most. Postures I'm working hard on advancing are Supta Kūrmāsana, Paśāsana, and dropping back and standing up from Ūrdhvā Dhanurāsana

How Has Yoga Benefited You The Most: 

Yoga has changed my life. Practice has made me a happier and healthier person, slowly over time, in more ways than are quantifiable.

Reason Started Doing Yoga: 

I started doing yoga as a trade with Hallee in the early part of our journey together. She would buy and ride a functional and practical bicycle and I would start going to yoga with her (I was skeptical). Long story short, we both were made better for this pivotal moment and practical agreement.
