My yoga practice began 2 weeks after moving to California from the east coast. I went in to a Bikram studio , not knowing what it was all about but searching for something that I could keep in my life and participate in without injury. I found it! I’ve never stopped practicing since then and always eager to know more and more, dive deeper into the practice and explore the unexpected additional benefits. The grounded , clear, stable feeling that I became aware of continues to encourage my practice. I feel honored and blessed that I get to share these experiences and watch my students make their own discoveries.
Favorite Yoga Move:
ustrasana camel pose, back bending did not come easy for me and now is one of the most releasing postures to practice. Opening the spine and addressing the central nervous system can have a tremendous effect in your life.
How Has Yoga Benefited You The Most:
In addition to the numerous health benefits, finding stillness and meditation in the most intense moments of practice is where you learn to grow outside of the asanas.
Reason Started Doing Yoga:
I was looking for something beneficial for my health and well being that I could always participate.
