Laurie completed her 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification in April 2015 through Ra and has been a firm practitioner for the past 5 years. Coming from a dance background growing up, Laurie has always loved any form of movement, but yoga has brought her mind, body, and spirit to a new level. Yoga has given a sense of depth and spirituality to Laurie's life, which she is excited to share this with her students. Laurie has a Bachleor's of Science in Kinesiology from Cal State Fullerton and is currently working on finishing her Master's in Public Health.

Favorite Yoga Move: 

Ardha Chandrasana (Half Moon) I love the feeling of weightlessness when you find your center in this pose. It is like the world has been lifted off your shoulders and you are soaring.

How Has Yoga Benefited You The Most: 

Patience.
