Marley grew up in Huntington Beach, where she studied performing arts and dance for many years. When she took her first yoga class in college, it was love at first vinyasa. Yoga became a safe and healing outlet for her to breath, to move and to explore. After graduating with a B.A. in Human Communications, Marley’s combined passion for health and helping others, inspired her to pursue a career in group fitness. She began her journey as a Ballet Barre Instructor, and then went on to obtain certifications in Yoga, Mat Pilates, Lagree Fitness.
Favorite Yoga Move:
Warrior 1. It is such a powerful and strong pose, yet there is absolute sweetness and surrender in the stillness.
How Has Yoga Benefited You The Most:
The greatest benefit of my yoga practice would be physical and mental strength and flexibility. So much of what I work through on my mat is a direct correlation to what I am working through in my life. Yoga has taught me to slow down, to breath, and to be content in the present moment.
Reason Started Doing Yoga:
My chiropractor suggested I try yoga to help alleviate back pain from scoliosis.
