Monique Jaime has always enjoyed the beautiful movement of the body and has danced for most of her life. She is still currently taking ballet and jazz classes at OCC. During the 90’s she was getting bored of step aerobics and stumbled into a yoga class, soon after a mat Pilates class-- she fell in love!

Her yoga teaching career began in 2004 and opened the door to so much more!

Monique is passionate about teaching and making her students move dynamically. She incorporates awesome music to her themed classes giving the participants a clear focal point.

Monique is 200-hour certified and has additional training and certifications for chair yoga, aqua yoga, restorative yoga
mat Pilates, reformer Pilates, comprehensive Pilates and barre.

Favorite Yoga Move: 

My favorite yoga pose is king dancer Natarajasana, I love the balancing and back bending in one beautiful package!

How Has Yoga Benefited You The Most: 

I have a healthier brain, not just form yoga, but from Pranayama - yoga breathing. Everyone needs to do more yoga, the world would be a better place!

Reason Started Doing Yoga: 

I found yoga right out of high school. My parents had just split up and it was my saving grace. From very early on I knew I wanted to share this gift with the world! In truth, yoga found me!
