Favorite Yoga Move:
There are too many postures. Over the years I have had many physical breakthroughs, but internally, the understanding and profound moments where time seemingly stands still, and there is a sense of endless suspension-- that is my "favorite". Warrior II grounds me and helps me find my strength, where headstand takes me into a space of alignment and all systems of the body are fused.
How Has Yoga Benefited You The Most:
Solace. As I face adversity in life, yoga gives me the tools to persevere, persist, and surrender. The cadence of my breath has helped me honor the rhythms of my life.
Reason Started Doing Yoga:
Curiosity. I was in college, I had know idea what I was doing, and there was no goal. I was absolutely open to possibilities, and now, I try to approach my practice with that same naiveté.
