200hr Certified | 110hr continued education
Natalie Bailey grew up in State College, Pennsylvania but knew there was more to the world than the small college town that raised her. She attended Purdue University where she studied Social Studies Education, excited to inspire her students through the stories of history! Her love of teaching and interacting with students in the classroom was what led Natalie to consider teaching yoga. After beginning her practice in Manhattan Beach, CorePower Yoga became her home upon moving down to Huntington Beach with her husband. Fueled by her desire to make connections with others, Natalie completed Teacher Training in November 2010 and jumped head first into exploring the role of a yoga instructor. She is currently certified in Power Vinyasa (200 hour) and Yoga Sculpt. Natalie has led 8 Teacher Training programs through CorePower Yoga & numerous other programs/lectures.

Favorite Yoga Move:
My favorite asana is Natarajasana (Dancer's pose). I have always wanted more flexibility in my spine and, after 3 years with this as my goal in my practice, I am able to reach full expression with pride!
How Has Yoga Benefited You The Most:
Yoga has helped me love myself more deeply than any other practice I have tried in the past. I feel more in tune with my purpose, my vessel, and my spirit when I am able to work my physical body in postures, release my mental bodies through breath, and strengthen my spiritual bodies through meditation. I know now I am exactly who and where I am supposed to be at each moment.
Reason Started Doing Yoga:
I started the practice of yoga for a change in workout initially but quickly realized that my true heart was calling for an alternative spiritual practice. My mat was and still is my sanctuary to escape. At the time I found yoga, I was still seeking my true identity as an East Coast transplant in California. Not only was I able to discover my purpose through yoga but I also was gifted an incredible community of like-minded individuals who lighten my life!
5 Words That Describe Your Teaching Style:
I would describe my teaching style as accessible, alignment-based, compassionate, strong, and relatable.
