RYT 200-HR | 14 hr trauma informed
Rebekah started practicing yoga in 2012 at time in her life where she was struggling with anxiety and depression, and seriously lacked direction. Her practice initially started as simply something to keep herself busy. Through consistent practice, she found a sense of confidence and clarity she never knew possible. She completed her RYT 200-hr in 2014 and returned to college the following year where she began to explore her interest in creative writing and drawing. She is currently working on her undergrad degree in illustration with intentions to write and illustrate books of mindfulness-based poetry for children. Since she began teaching, Rebekah has always had a special interest in working with trauma survivors and went through a trauma informed training in 2017. She carries this awareness with her in every class she teaches. She aims to make the practice accessible to all bodies and backgrounds and to provide her students a platform to explore their practice safely and one day fuse her art with her yoga to promote alternative means of self healing.
