A creative first, Samantha moved to California from the Midwest in 2008 to chase her aspirations as a musician and performance artist. She discovered her passion for yoga in 2010, and has always turned to movement as an outlet for feeling liberated and expressive. Her mission as an instructor, if nothing else, is to inspire her students and continue to remain inspired herself.

How Has Yoga Benefited You The Most: 

It keeps me sane. Yoga is a form of meditation and an event that has become a medicinal outlet for me. I realized a long time ago that it was a necessity in my life and that’s when I decided I wanted to teach.

Reason Started Doing Yoga: 

I danced my whole life. As a young adult, I eventually discovered free yoga classes nearby-- I thought it’d be easy for me, but it wasn't! The appeal of yoga for me was that I knew it was beneficial (and essential) for my mental and emotional health. Learning how to adapt and fall in love with the physical aspect/breath work came further down the line.
