Teacher Bio: Doreen’s journey into the realm of movement began in her formative years within the vibrant world of high school dance. It was during this time that she was introduced to yoga, igniting a lifelong passion for mind-body wellness. However, it wasn’t until facing the challenge of rehabilitating from a herniated disk in her early twenties that Doreen discovered the transformative power of Pilates. Believing fervently in Pilates’ ability to heal and strengthen, she pursued extensive training, earning her 500-hour Balanced Body Pilates certification at Fullerton College. Specializing in mat, reformer, trapeze, and various apparatus, Doreen is dedicated to sharing the profound benefits of Pilates with her students. With a compassionate and inclusive approach, she emphasizes the holistic nature of Pilates, guiding individuals toward physical vitality, mental clarity, and inner balance both on and off the mat.
