Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, known as “the yoga of awareness”, is the basis on which many other types of yoga were formed. It is called Raj (royal) Yoga, encompassing all eight limbs of yoga into a singular practice. Kundalini literally means “coiled” and is represented by a metaphorical coiled snake at the base of your spine. This practice helps to uncoil and release your life force energy, benefiting your health, strength, fitness and overall happiness. This technology precisely and consciously combines Asanas (postures), Pranayam (breathing), Mudra (hand/body gestures to seal energy), Eye-focus, Mantra (chanting), Bandhas (body locks which move and direct energy), to balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purifiy the blood. Kundalini Yoga brings balance to the body, mind, and soul. Appropriate for all levels.
