Yin Reiki combines yin yoga with reiki healing. Yin yoga consists of longer held, mostly seated postures that passively stretch connective tissue and muscles in order to unblock held energy and release physical tightness. Reiki is an ancient healing technique based on the concept of universal energy.
The union of these two traditions offer healing and relaxation physically, mentally and spiritually. Students will be guided into gentle yin yoga postures held for 3-5 minutes and receive Reiki healing throughout the duration of class. Reiki treatments consist of a practitioner positioning their hands over the receiver’s body with or without touch. This unique class encourages the flow of Prana (life force energy) in the body removing blockages and imbalances in the chakras, promoting and re-establishing inner peace and well-being.
