This experience serves to introduce the practitioner to the Budokon Mobility Curriculum which focuses on moving through range of motion through spirals without the spacial limitation of a yoga mat. This is the truest expression of movement potential in the human body.
This curriculum is an entirely new framework for moving and experiencing the body through free-form movement patterns. We break down these into simple bite-size chunks, and gradually chain them together to form a movement choreography.
By the end of the workshop, we’ll have the practitioners familiar with how to move freely and intelligently through circular patterns while changing levels from the ground, through mid-range and standing transitions. This ultimately serves their movement intelligence, longevity of the body, & can be applied to all realms of life while staying true to what makes yoga, yoga – mindful movement through meditation.
