New to yogalates? Not sure what to expect? Have you been practicing for a while and not sure if what you’re doing is “correct”? This workshop is for you! In this hour and a half workshop style class we will spend ample time breaking down, discussing, and getting curious about how to connect to our core or “powerhouse”, as it is called in Pilates. Learn breathing techniques, pelvic placement, ways to support your back and neck during common exercises, and how to efficiently engage your abdominals to create strength and stability. Yogalates is a challenging class that demands a lot of attention and awareness and it can be difficult in a large group class to learn everything without having extra guidance and support. My goal with this workshop is to help demystify some of the terms and phrases you may have heard in class so you have a better understanding of how to apply them in your own body. Come ready to move and learn, all bodies welcome! 45 minute exercise breakdown and explanation and 45 minute practice. NON HEATED.
