Booking and Capacity Guidelines

Late Cancel

Reservations may be modified or canceled in the app with no penalty until your Late Cancel Window has closed. Check the purchase agreement of your class package or membership to determine your late cancel window, but newer memberships and packages are 8 hrs before class. Reservations may be canceled after your window has closed but there will be a late cancellation fee of $7. Discounts are available on late fees based on your membership type (see purchase agreement).  We understand that illness and emergencies arise. Please email us at info@rayoga.com for support.

For class packages, a late cancellation may result in the loss of a credit.

No Show

Reserved classes that are not cancelled in advance, and are not attended, are considered a no-show. 

This also applies also to reservations cancelled within 1 hour of class start time. The no show fee is $15 but discounts are available on no-show fees based on your membership type. We understand that illness and emergencies arise. Please email us at info@rayoga.com for support.

For clients using class packages, a no-show will result in the loss of a credit.

Grace Period

Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to guarantee your place in class.


If you arrive at the studio later than 5 min past the start time we are not able to allow you into class, but can help you reschedule for a different time if possible.  This is our studio policy for all classes at all locations.

booking period

At Ra Yoga, your booking window is based on your membership or class package type. Some memberships come with a 2 day booking window and our longest booking window is 7 days. All booking windows are based on a rolling interval whereas all classes will open up X days in advance at a specific time. For example, if you have a 7 day booking window, at 12pm on Monday you’ll be able to book for the following Monday. First Come, First Served vs. Pick-A-Spot Booking

All classes should be booked in advance on the RA Yoga app. Although walk-ins are technically allowed, you always run the risk of a class being sold out.

All studio rooms at Ra Yoga have a specific maximum capacity. If a class on the weekly schedule is historically pre-booked at below ~50% then the class will have first come, first served booking. First come, first served booking means that a client is able to set their mat in any available space when they arrive at the studio.

When booking an historically busy class, the app will prompt to use our pick-a-spot feature to choose your exact space in the yoga room at the time of pre-booking.

All Yin & Meditation classes are first come, first served booking at this time.

Waitlist Policies

All regularly scheduled classes have a 30 person waitlist so that after all spots on the class roster are filled then 30 additional people can reserve a spot in case someone on the roster cancels their reservation. In order to be placed on the waitlist you are required to have a valid credit to attend class. This credit will be used to attend class or returned to you after the class starts if you did not make onto the roster. 

In the event someone cancels their reservation greater than 3 hours before the start of class then the first person on the waitlist will automatically be added to the roster. An email and/or text notification will be sent to you about your placement into the roster. It is very important you have an accurate email and/or cell phone on your account so that you can be notified of your waitlist movement. You can modify your personal information in the app or here

Between 3 hours and 30 minutes before the start of class, the automatic movement from the waitlist to the class roster is disabled. During that time period, if a spot comes available due to a reservation cancellation everyone on the waitlist will receive a notification (text and/or email) of the open spot. There will be a link in the notification which you can press in order to approve movement from the waitlist on to the class roster. This feature is based on a “fastest fingers first” principle so whomever approves first will be granted access to the class.  

Studio Parking

Costa Mesa

Parking is located directly behind the building. Do not park in the red fire lane, spots marked for Panache Bridal, or at Woodbridge Interiors next door. If you need access to overflow parking, there is a two-story parking structure at Crowne Plaza, which can be used until 7:30 PM.

Newport Beach

You may park in any spot labelled “1617 Westcliff”, on the street when there is no street sweeping, or in the complimentary valet next to Nick’s Newport Beach when available. Do not park in a spot labelled with another address, or at the bank.

After 5 PM, the valet lot becomes available for use, and the gate on that parking lot will be up.

Long Beach

You may park anywhere in the Long Beach Exchange shopping center, including in front, to the side, and behind the studio. Do not park in the red fire lane. There is valet parking available on Fridays and Saturdays next to La Plancha.

In the afternoon, it is usually easier to park near Panini Kabob Grill or Whole Foods.

Mission Viejo

There is ample parking available within the Mission Viejo Town Center parking lot.
