Join us on this International Women’s Day for a 90 minute Trauma-Informed Yoga practice! This workshop will include guided visualizations, somatic experiencing cues, safety and containment meditations, opportunities for journaling, grounding and a gentle Yin RAstore style sequence. Practitioners are encouraged to bring any comfort items that might fit on their mat including but not limited to journal and pen, pillow, blanket, plushie, noiseless fidgets, crystals or other grounding totems. The class will be guided by soothing instrumental music, dim (but never all the way dark) lighting, and scentless (as much as possible) environment. Practitioners can bring their own mat or rent one from the studio if needed for a small fee. This practice will close with an extended savasana for practitioners to drop into deep meditation in this safe and supportive space.
