The name “Rocket Yoga” comes from Bob Weir of The Grateful Dead, who said the practice “gets you there faster.”
Rocket Yoga is a fast-paced, dynamic style of yoga that combines traditional Ashtanga yoga with creative vinyasa yoga flow. It’s designed to be accessible to all levels of practitioners, and includes may ways to modify poses. It is full of opportunities to strengthen the core, work on advanced poses, and try arm balances and inversions.
Teacher Bio: Amber is an E-RYT500 with over 20 years experience working in the wellness sphere, including physical therapy, athletic training, massage therapy, human nutrition, and personal training. She has practiced yoga since 2003, taught full-time since 2012, designed & led teacher trainings since 2015, and assisted at retreats. She is trained in power, vinyasa, hot26, yin, meditation, Rocket yoga, Buti yoga, and is a Yoga Medicine Therapeutic Specialist. She is known for her informative cues and empowering classes. Her favorite things to teach are arm balances & inversions, and she is a gold medalist in pole sport.
