Older Kids Only Yoga Class! Ages 7 – 10
Children will be given an introduction to yoga. Students will be led through a kid’s yoga flow and play yoga games and yoga freeze dance followed by kid’s meditation and breathing techniques.
Yoga can help the children foster mindfulness to explore where they feel the posture in their body. Yoga can be a fun, silly and engaging activity that children enjoy.
While your child is in their kid’s yoga class, parents are invited to enjoy the food court or do some shopping around The Hangar. Reminder, space in the room is limited, and can be a distraction for the littles participating to have their parents watching. If you need to be in the kid’s yoga room, please contact me (littleairplaneyogis@gmail.com) prior to the class and we can discuss an arrangement that works best.
Teacher Bio:
Jewell Z is an Early Childhood Educator with 7+ years of experience teaching/working with children as young as 2 months to elementary age. She has been practicing yoga consistently for a few years and she recently became a certified yoga teacher. Although she has been teaching kid’s yoga to her preschoolers over the past 2 school years. She is passionate about helping children develop a connection from their minds to the body. She is ever so grateful to combine these two areas of passion in her life and provide a developmentally age-appropriate yoga class for the littles.
