Please join Laurie and her partner DJ Ryan Cirel for an evening of music, movement, yoga, celebration, and community. Bhakti can mean many things including, devotion, trust, and love. We will combine Bhakti with live house beats to celebrate our true nature as devotional and playful beings. If you’ve ever taken one of Laurie’s classes, you know she will bring her distinctive humor and inspiration to this workshop. This night will be no different and it is the perfect way to honor the New Year we are all creating.
Teacher Bio: Yoga has been a huge part of Laurie’s life since 2010. Her practice has helped her grow stronger, more mobile, and confident, both on and off the mat. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Master’s in Public Health from Cal State Fullerton, Laurie completed her 200 hour Vinyasa training with Ra Yoga. After, she went on to complete her 500 hour advanced teacher training and is certified in every style that Ra Yoga offers. Laurie is also one of Ra Yoga’s Master Instructors. She is very passionate about training teachers and helping them learn about all the various ways yoga can be creatively expressed.
